Kuwento ni Jess Guim

Golgotha. Dapithapon. Taong 2016.

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

“HELP! Please help me get back my daughter!”

“NO! Please don’t kill him!”

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

“Thank you very much, Mr. Ferrari. I owe so much from you, the life of my daughter,” laking pasasalamat ni Mr. Enormous kay Nick.

“He’s a hero, Dad! He’s a hero!”

“Your amazing strength were powers of superheroes, I’ve only seen in Hollywood movies, Mr. Ferrari!” buong paghangang sabi ni Mr. Enormous kay Nick.

“Mr. Ferreras, Sir…

“Oh, sorry, Mr. Ferrari… I-I mean, Mr. Ferreras. Again, thank you very much… thank you very much for saving my precious daughter.”

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

Whatever you do in life, you always expect success as the end result of your efforts. But victory is not easy and could not be achieved without nurturing these three D’s of success. Remember this, one of them can not help you succeed in life without the other. So, nurture them all within yourself, and you will reap the fruit of success.

First, you need the DESIRE or motivation to achieve your objective. The starting point of all achievements is desire. Some people might say your dream is impossible to achieve, but with your own desire to accomplish it, there’s nothing you can’t fulfill without it. A poor man becomes a millionaire because of his desire to have more money. An NBA star believes he could fly to shoot a ball in the ring, because of his desire for fame. A writer never sleeps at night, as long as ideas come out of his mind, because of his desire to become a blockbuster novelist and movie screenwriter.

The desire (motivation or passion), on the other hand, should be strengthened by DISCIPLINE. There are people, who in the midst of their near-success, meet temptations that lead them to the wrong direction. A student who’s almost graduating in college failed to finish his course because he joined a fraternity that buried him into the ravine of drug addiction. An entrepreneur who’s almost becoming a millionaire with his innovative marketing ideas, went bankrupt when he associated with gamblers who turned him into a compulsive gambler. These are simple examples of temptations, that lead people to failure when someone’s discipline is not strong enough to achieve one’s objective to succeed. So, strengthen the discipline in you by surrounding yourself with like-minded people.

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

DETERMINATION is the father of desire and discipline. You can never achieve and win what you desire if you have no definiteness in acquiring such victory. But simply having determination doesn’t mean you’re already on the road to success. A determination should be powered by knowledge of the skills needed to achieve an objective. You need to learn about the skills and place them into practice. Then, when you have enough training to strategize your steps, you need to develop your experiences into expertise. It is this expertise that strengthens your determination to achieve success.

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

Step 1. Think of what product or service you are going to sell or offer. If you don’t have one, look for a suitable group with a problem, and think from there what product or service you could offer to solve this problem. For “suitable group,” we could probably think of the 8 million OFWs earning dollars abroad. For “problem” pertaining to this group, we could probably think of how these OFWs will spend their hard-earned money when they finally decide to stay back in the Philippines.

Step 2. Stand out from the crowd by having your own unique domain name and web site. Every successful business name in the Internet had been so popular and profitable, because of their web site name’s uniqueness. Yahoo!, eBay, AMAZON, and many more were not only built from what their businesses are about, but also by the “branding” strategies that made them popular. Branding on a web site is a strategy of building a perception, emotion, or experience to a visitor when he visits or buys something from your web site. When you think of SerbisyoPilipino.org, for example, the visitors of it will remember the web site as a place that offers Filipino services.

Step 3. Be an Internet savvy. Doing business in the Internet is far from simply thinking of it like an ordinary “bangketa” where you could sell anything instantly. Learn how to write a sales copy that’s a sales grabber for your web site. Setup an automated ordering system, accepting different kinds of payments from worldwide customers. Protect your web site from fraudulent orders by scammers. Design a cheap way to build traffics in your web site, and build strategies that will increase sales in your web site.

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

Step 4. Books about internet business easily become unusable, because business strategies in the cyberspace change so fast. So, I recommend reading information online, instead of buying hard copy books. One ebook that I am currently recommending for your reading is “Three Wheels of Success,” from true confessions of a rich tricycle driver. Remember: don’t be fooled by the promises of getting rich immediately on the Internet. Doing business in the cyberspace has no big difference than the real business that you see around us.

Three M’s of Getting Down to Business http://www.overseasfilipinos.com/three-ms-of-getting-down-to-business/ Fri, 04 Aug 2017 02:21:01 +0000 http://www.overseasfilipinos.com/?p=156 Continue reading "Three M’s of Getting Down to Business"

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

It takes more than a dream to become successful in business.  It is a risky endeavor if you will simply jump into it without proper planning.  It’s not just money, but time, reputation, job, and family relationships are wrecked when the business fails.  The risks never stop even if the business survives or becomes financially successful. But you can dramatically reduce the odds of failure if you develop the right plan and actions in every phase of your business.  Don’t forget to consider these 3 M’s you needed in getting down to business.

Setting up a business is like planning a long distance road trip.  You need a road map to trace down your starting point and list the names of highways where you are going to turn until you reach your point of destination. To start a business you need a marketing plan that details how you intend to distribute or sell your products and make sales.  You need a system plan that outlines the space and types of equipment for your business.  Most important of all, you need a financial plan to trace down how you will build and maintain a positive cash flow.

True Confessions of a Rich Tricycle Driver

Knowing your market and target customers is another factor to consider in starting a business.  Some people open a business because they were simply driven by a desire to make more money without surveying first if their planned business would really serve their target customers. Niche marketing is a type of doing business based on a specific need of a group of customers. This is an end product of proper surveying before an entrepreneur opens a business with a specific product or service for a particular group of customers.

Time management and people management are also important factors one should consider before opening a business.  Focus and attention are needed in growing a business.  So, if you don’t have much time to directly manage your business, you should be able to delegate it to the right person who could manage it. See to it that this person meets the requirements, having the attitudes and characteristics to manage the business in your absence. The people plan determines what kind of employees you’ll need, and what skills should they possess to run your business.

As an entrepreneur with no experience yet in business, these are the three “M’s” you need to know before you go into business – money, marketing, and management. With money available, right marketing strategies, and proper management of people, your business will grow as you expected at the start.

It’s time to reinvent yourself, and the right time is now.

  • Do you always dream of earning more money than what you’re currently earning now?
  • Are you an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) dreaming to be permanently with your family again in the Philippines?
  • Are you a wife or a husband of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), who wanted to help your husband or wife earn more money in the Philippines?
  • Are you a corporate or government employed, surviving on hand-to-mouth existence, no matter how you work hard in your employment?
  • Are you out of job, and wanted to start on your own?
  • Do you want to reinvent yourself and wanted to gain freedom on what you wanted to do?

If you answered “YES” to one or more of the questions above, then, here’s the ebook, (written by a former tricycle driver), that will explain the strategies and solutions.

“Three Wheels of Success – How I Turned PhP500.00 Into a Million Peso Business,” is a true story of a struggling government employee for ten years, who turned into a street smart entrepreneur, earning his first million Peso in few months – actually, PHP2 MILLION PESO worth of business and properties in two years.

“Three Wheels of Success – How I Turned PhP500.00 Into a Million Peso Business,” is a true confession of a start-up entrepreneur with only PhP500.00 to start with, and turned this shoestring capital into 14 units of tricycles, three grocery stores, and a restaurant.

“Three Wheels of Success – How I Turned PhP500.00 Into a Million Peso Business,” is a real-life story of a man who’s buried to debts, reinvented the strategies to success; then, paid off all his liabilities, bought two units of house and lots, and two vacant first class lots in a luxury subdivision.

Jess Guim: Author, "Three Wheels of Success."

Jess Guim: Author, “Three Wheels of Success.”

Hello! I am Jess Guim, the author of this ebook you should not fail to buy. I was once a government employee – a Fiber Technician for ten years in the Philippines, and later went into tricycle business which made me build a PhP2 million worth of business and properties from just PhP500.00. I’m currently living in New York City, working as IT contractor most of the times since I arrived here in 1992. Today, I’m no longer driving a tricycle. I’m riding now a red Ford Mustang sports car. This is just one of the seven cars my family own for our driving convenience.

As a government employee surviving from paycheck to paycheck, I was totally broke, and buried from the ravine of debts in the Philippines.

BEFORE: When I was just a tricycle driver in the Philippines

BEFORE: When I was just a tricycle driver.

I tried finishing a master’s degree in Public Administration with hopes that I will be promoted (and have a salary raise) from my office. But that hope ended up in desperation when I saw my other officemates promoted instead based on favoritism.

I took part-time teaching as Associate Professor of evening classes in a college for Agriculture to augment my income. From here, I’ve realized that the College of Agriculture has no Dean yet. So, I enrolled at Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree that’s focused on Management for Education. It was so tiring weekends, traveling by bus for four hours from Sorsogon City to Iriga City, and another four hours of traveling going back home. Eight hours in the classrooms, and eight hours of traveling was a total of 16 hours every Saturday and Sunday. It really made me busy and tired for the whole semester. I got no life and was getting more into debts with my traveling and schooling expenses. I was not able to afford it anymore. So, I stopped my doctorate study after earning just nine units from three subjects.

Later, I thought of having my own family. But four days after our wedding day, my wife met a vehicular accident that almost killed her, while I was at work.

Myself, ready to drive my new Ford Mustang sports car, from the car dealer.

Myself, ready to drive my new Ford Mustang sports car, from the car dealer.

A passenger jeepney hit the tricycle where she was riding, as she was going home after a Wednesday mass for Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The impact of the collision was so intensely extreme, that her left arm’s bone got broken, and the driver of the tricycle died few minutes after he was brought to the emergency room of the hospital.

My wife survived. But my debts got bigger and bigger. My GSIS house and lot loan’s monthly amortizations were unpaid for more than a year already. My wife was undergoing physical therapy every week, and we need money for our travel expenses going to the hospital. There was a time that we split a SkyFlake soda cracker for our lunch because we could not afford to go to a restaurant after her visit at the hospital for physical therapy.

Myself in Canada, while on assignment as an IT Consultant.

Myself in Canada, while on assignment as an IT Consultant.

My life’s story of success could not fit in this short introduction about me. So, I urge you to buy this ebook and read more about me and my strategies in getting out of the hardships before. The cost below is almost the cost of just one McDonald hamburger meal. But the returns will be thousands to millions worth – depending on how you put them into your own practice.

“Three Wheels of Success – How I Turned P500.00 Into a Million Peso Business,” is an amazing, but true story of success, using strategies that were not written in books, but from street-smart ideas by himself, who just wanted to get out of the “rat race,” and be an independent entrepreneur.

“Three Wheels of Success – How I Turned P500.00 Into a Million Peso Business,” is an easy-to-read and follow ebook, which you could finish reading in an hour, but a lifetime instruction material that will inspire and guide you, until you have your own story of success. It is a downloadable Adobe PDF format, so, anyone with a computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) or mobile device (cell phone or tablet) could read it anywhere, anytime.

“Three Wheels of Success – How I Turned PhP500.00 Into a Million Peso Business,” is only PhP449.00 (plus sales tax). But you should buy it now before I raise its price to PhP950.00.

SUCCESS could be attained one step at a time. Start your first step by clicking the button “BUY NOW” below.
